MEET OUR COMMUNITY!
For our AW24 collection “It’s a good day” we shot two campaigns - one of them with our community.
Therefore, different friends came by, telling their own story with our clothes. Meet them and our key styles of the AW24 collection.
Sharing our brand with a creative group of friends is at the core of our association.
Tisja & Ziarah
The two sisters are well-known faces to New Amsterdam.
In the beginning of New Amsterdam Surf Association, Tisja was responsible for all PR and marketing activations, helping us a lot becoming the brand we are today.
However, also her sister Ziarah is a long friend of the brand, just in our latest collaboration campaign with BALLET she was acting in a little retro movie.
Next to that NASA actually created a tiny collection together with the sisters in 2022. As Ziarah is a passionate and great painter, we took her artworks and portrayed them on a fine silk scarf and a swimsuit.
We’re stoked for many more projects with the sisters in the future.
Flo
Florian is our graphic designer in the New Amsterdam office. After his internship in graphic design with Paul, he stayed in the family and is now responsible for all artworks on our clothing.
Our NASA Surfteam
Coming back to the roots of New Amsterdam, our own surf team is a big and important part of our community.
The idea of the brand started with the idea of representing the surf culture in a country like the Netherlands. At our local surf spot Wijk aan Zee the water looks rather muddy than blue and instead of sunshine there’s rain most of the times.
Together with the boys from the surf team we represent the rather European surfing experience.
Ami
Ami is an Amsterdam based creative and a close friend of the brand and the NASA Team.
Together with some other friends like Laurens (from our office) and Passian (our photographer) she is part of Le Trou, a collective uniting people through music, art and food.
Next to that Ami owns her own modeling Agency called Gem Faces featuring the most extraordinary faces around.
